I’m currently painting in two very different styles- the realism and very detailed work of the home and garden portraits and then the completely free and spontaneous intuitive painting.

“At Peace” and “Wild Woman”

These two figures appeared on my paper just at the end of painting. One so peaceful, the other full of energy. I had wanted to fix up Wild Woman’s face, but I had the sense that she wanted to look like this. After all, who am I to say what a wild woman should look like??
